In the Lern-Forum we work in groups. Students are grouped in classes of up to eight students.

Learning in the group

In principle, we no longer offer private lessons or tutoring. This is due to the following reasons:

 

  •  The most productive learning environment is achieved with small classes of three to eight students.
  •  the students are motivated by their classmates and develop a healthy ambition.
  •  The course folders are designed to focus on personal development for each student - there are many assignments with detailed solutions that can be solved independently if desired.
  • social exchange is encouraged, you get to know new people and make contacts that often continue long after the course has ended.

High learning-speed

In the exam preparation courses (Check-8, preparatory courses for Gymnasium short- and long term and BMS-preparatory courses) the learning pace is high. The material relevant to the exam is to be taught to the students in a targeted and compact manner. Extensive learning material is available in the courses.

Adapted learning pace

In the basic courses, more attention can be paid to the individual student. There is no concrete plan of what needs to be worked on in the course. In the course folder there are exercises on the most important topics of the respective subject, which are worked on as needed.

Conditions for private lessons

For students who are in one of our group courses, private lessons are available in a few exceptional cases. The availability of private lessons depends of course on the capacity of the desired teacher. There is no entitlement to private lessons.

The conditions for private lessons are as follows:

  • The preis per lesson beträgt CHF 145.-- One lesson lasts 60 minutes.
  • In any case a 5 lesson subscription of CHF 725.-- must be purchased and paid in advance. There are no individual lessons.
  • The private lessons are only available for students who attend one of our group courses at the same time.
  • The lessons take place on our premises. The teachers do not come to your home.

  • Matura Preparation

    Repetition preparation courses of all relevant subjects for the Matura examinations in mathematics and French.
