Feedback preparation for Gymnasium

Dear Mrs. Schmitt Before son Elias received his exam results this weekend, I asked him where he had benefited the most during his Gymnasium preparation. The answer came quickly: in the essay. In fact, compared to two years ago, when the essay had prevented him from entering the long-term Gymnasium, Elias had improved by two whole points, from a three to a five. I myself saw how meticulously-constructively-critically you corrected the essays. And according to Elias, there were quite a few compositions that you had to look at. I thank you very much for your efforts. I think Elias and all the other students will benefit from it far beyond the entrance exam. (I, as a mediocre gymnasium student, had an equally thorough German teacher. And eventually became a journalist or [chief] editor.
